Brought to you by the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad & Cultural Events Series. Moonlight on the Mountain is headed to Frostburg State University on November 10th!
Climb aboard our rolling time machine and be transported back in time. Your train will leave behind the Mountain Maryland City of Cumberland, your destination, Frostburg. Nestled in this mountain town is Frostburg State University. Our shuttle service will take you to the Pealer Performing Arts Center located on the FSU campus, where you will be experiencing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, one of three pieces to be conducted by Elizabeth Schulze.
On board, enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Max Flanigan, and signature beverages prepared by our service staff at one of 3 bars.
The presentation of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra is supported by the Community Trust Foundation’s Iris and Peter Halmos Community Fund and by the FSU Foundation.
The train will depart Cumberland at 5:30 PM, and the Orchestra will begin at 7:30 PM. All train seating is Lounge Class and tickets will be issued for assigned seating for the performance. After the performance, passengers will be shuttled to the Frostburg Depot for our return trip to Cumberland.
