Boarding begins at 7 pm; train departs at 7:30 pm. This 3-hour excursion will return to Cumberland at 10:30 pm. Advance reservations are required.
Climb aboard for an evening of live music and mountain vistas at sunset.
Boarding for Sunset on the Mountain begins at 6:30PM and the train will depart at 7:00PM. Our full-service bars will serve up your favorite beverages and complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be available. Enjoy acoustic music and tunes aboard our train as we climb Mountain Maryland to Frostburg and return. The train will pause for 20 minutes in Frostburg. This special train departs from and returns to Cumberland.
All seating is first come first serve on the train, but the following classes will be available!

Tickets for this event WILL SELL OUT! BOOK ASAP FOR BEST SEAT SELECTION.
Please arrive with your entire party when boarding begins to ensure your party is boarded and seated together. You will be assigned to a specific car but seating within the car is unassigned and first come, first serve. Boarding begins 60 minutes prior to departure.

Terms & Conditions
Ticket purchases are fully refundable up to two weeks before your excursion date. You can get in-house credit within two weeks but no refunds or credits will be given for day of cancellations or missed trains. If you cannot keep your original excursion date, an in-house credit will be held for a future excursion within the same calendar year as the original excursion date.
Once you arrive you will receive boarding instructions. We ask that all guests arrive 45 minutes prior to departure.
All seating is assigned.
No outside alcohol is permitted.
No smoking or vaping is permitted.
We only allow service animals onboard our trains.
Western Maryland Scenic Railroad makes every effort to maintain its schedule. Due to mechanical and Safety Needs, we reserve the right to change equipment, locomotive and passenger cars at any time.
