Board the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad for a sweet summer tradition! Ice Cream Trains run on select Friday evenings May through August, departing from both Cumberland (at 5, 6, and 7 PM) and Frostburg (at 6 and 7 PM). Choose your favorite flavor at check-in inside our beautiful historic station in downtown Cumberland, then sit back and enjoy a 35-minute round trip through the stunning Narrows gorge. Seating is available in both classic Coach and open-air cars, perfect for all ages!

ADA Needs

Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of our equipment, not all of our train cars are ADA-accessible. Wheelchairs can only be accommodated in Standard Coach at our Cumberland Station (13 Canal Street, Cumberland MD). Please contact our ticketing office prior to booking for wheelchair/mobility accommodations.

Trains departing from the Frostburg Depot (19 Depot Street, Frostburg MD) do NOT have ADA accommodations available.
