While our steam locomotive no. 1309 is currently down for repairs, we plan to have her available as part of our Polar Express™ experience. We will not announce steam dates until the repairs are 100% complete.

Yes, there are multiple restrooms on board our train.

Yes, our entire train is climate controlled, ensuring our passengers are nice and warm on their trip to the North Pole!

WMSR would highly recommend arriving 40-45 minutes before your scheduled departure time. This ensures you will have time for parking, receiving your golden tickets, visiting the gift shop and boarding the train!

Trains will run in all weather, and will not be canceled unless a national weather emergency is declared.

Hot chocolate and sugar cookies will be provided to all Polar Express passengers. We will provide the ingredients here when they become available.

Substitute cookies and hot chocolate can be carried on board if you or a family member have a food allergy.

Ages two and under are FREE as long as they are on a lap of an adult.

Our Value Departure trips of the Polar Express™ are 8:30PM departures on peak dates. These trips are coach only, and only $40 a ticket, saving you $20 a seat!
