Charter A Caboose
Gather your group and ride the rails in your own private caboose! Accommodating up to 10 guests, this unique experience offers an unforgettable way to take in the scenery of Western Maryland from the rear of a historic train. Bring your favorite snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, relax with family and friends, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind journey on the Scenic Line.
Private Caboose Rental
Advance reservations are required and must be made at least 48 hours prior to departure.
Caboose reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The caboose accommodates a maximum of 10 passengers. Capacity limits will be strictly enforced.
The caboose is not ADA accessible and does not include restroom facilities, climate control, onboard excursion narration, or access to other passenger cars.
For your safety, passengers must remain inside the caboose while the train is in motion.
The caboose may not operate as the last car of the train.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited in the caboose, as they are throughout the train.
A WMSR attendant will accompany your party in the caboose throughout the excursion and will be available to assist with questions or other needs.
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome aboard the caboose, making it easy for your group to enjoy a meal or refreshments during your excursion.
